Aiding the CommunityOnce again...on June 18th Yoshukai Alliance upheld it’s reputation as a "KAI" of dedicated students. On, some what of a short notice, we were asked to give a demonstration at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for their Fund Raiser. Mr. Roberts and Mr. Bottrell quickly organized the presentation. Several hand katas and weapons katas were performed and explained. Mr. Roberts and Mr. Bottrell showed the audience what sparring was all about; we finished up with some board breaking. Add up the very uneven yard and the 90 plus temperature equals the true karate spirit. The small yet appreciative audience gave a big round of applause and invited us in to cool down and have something to eat. It is always a good feeling to demonstrate the Yoshukai Spirit!! |
